Bandai MG 1/100 RX-79(G) Gundam Ground Type English Color Guide

Released in 2000 by Bandai was the Master Grade version of the RX-79(G) Gundam from 08th MS Team. The 08th MS Team anime delves on the ground war aspect of the One Year War where mobile suits work together in tandem with armored units and infantry. Central to the story are the exploits of Shiro Amada and the 08th MS Team of the Earth Federation as they try to help push back the invading Zeon Forces.

Wreck-It Ralph won in my book

The only category I was watching out for in the 2013 Oscars was Best Animation. Sadly the movie I was gunning for, Wreck-It Ralph, failed to win the coveted award. Brave, by Pixar, won instead.

Bandai HG 1/144 Gundam AGE-FX Burst English Manual & Color Guide

Released last month by Bandai was the HG Gundam AGE-FX Burst as a 1/144 High Grade Model Kit. The Gundam AGE-FX comes from the Gundam AGE anime series.

Bandai HG 1/144 MS-06R-1A Zaku II Black Tristars English Manual & Color Guide

Another brilliant release by Bandai, this time the 1/144 High Grade Zaku II of the Black Tristars. The Black Tristars are a trio of Zeon pilots who made their presence known in the first Mobile Suit Gundam anime series piloting Dom's. Their back story was that they made their mark effectively piloting Zaku II's. Bandai already released a Master Grade version of this a couple of years back.

Bandai HG 1/144 Jesta Cannon Paint Conversion & Color Guide

Released in February by Bandai was the 1/144 High Grade model kit version of the Jesta Cannon from the Gundam UC OVA. The Jesta Cannon is a modification of the base Jesta Mobile suit with a different armor and weapons load out.

Bandai HG 1/144 MSA-003 Nemo English Manual & Color Guide

From Zeta Gundam comes the MSA-003 Nemo that was released last month by Bandai as 1/144 High Grade Model Kit. The Nemo was the mass produced mobile suit that was predominantly seen in the anime as being used by the protagonist AEUG side. Memorable users of the Nemo in the anime were the ill fated Katz Kobayashi as well as the lovable Fa Yuiry.

Heavenly Armed

I got the ribbing of a lifetime as a young boy when I referred to the Revell 1/48 A-10 Thunderbolt II that I had built as being "Heavenly" armed instead of "Heavily" armed.

Post Shading with Eye Shadow Make-up

Working on the 1/48 Mil-24 Hind-D by Revell. I wanted to do some post shading on the aircraft and instead of using pastels I used my wife's old eye shadow make-up kit. Turned out quite well really.
