I would fix a ton of these... *snicker* Yep, happens all the time. Buy a new pair of scissors, top handle always gets busted after a few uses. They just don't make them like they used to anymore.
The good news about the latest incarnation of the Makerbot (Replicator 2), is that the resolution has improved. Giving it a somewhat smoother finish than the previous versions. Sadly, the price for one more than doubled. I expect however, once this thing goes more main stream and economies of scale kicks in, the price will drop. Hopefully the printing time will also be reduced.
