Bandai HG Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound English Color Guide & Manual

From the latest Gundam AGE anime comes the Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound of Asemu Asuno. This particular kit was released as a 1/144 High Grade model kit by Bandai. Not wanting to state the obvious, but what the heck, Crossbone! *snicker*. The Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound can transform to a strider flying mode aside from its mobile suit mode.

Bandai HG 1/144 Zaku-Mariner English Color Guide & Manual

From Gundam ZZ anime is the Zaku-Mariner, which was recently released by Bandai as a 1/144 High Grade model kit. The Zaku-Mariner is an amphibious type mobile suit and comes equipped with a SUBROC missile system (8 in the backpack, 6 in the shoulders as well as 4 in the gun).　The Zaku Mariner also comes with a magnet hook at its left arm and a hydro jet for propulsion at its back pack.

Posted yesterday at Yamato Toys Twitter page, a picture of them doing a parts check then assembly of the soon to be released 1/60 VF-4G Lightning III from Macross. My heart skips a beat whenever I see any of toy release related to Macross, those released by Yamato Toys more especially *snicker*

Bandai SD Quin-Mantha English Manual

From Gundam ZZ is the Quin-Mantha(Queen Mansa) of Ple Two. This funny looking kit was released in SD format by Bandai in 2000. From what I recall, the Quin-Mantha has been the basis for the Kshatriya of Marida Cruz.

Whoa... *grin*... and just in time for the Batman movie...hehehe... ugliest version of the Batmobile for me was the one in Batman & Robin... then again, that Joel Schumacher helmed movie really sucked bigtime...

Bandai HG 1/144 RX-78GP02A Gundam GP02A English Manual & Color Guide

Released in 2006 was the RX-78GP02A Gundam GP02A Physalis from Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory as a 1/144 High Grade Model Kit. In the anime the RX-78GP02A Gundam GP02A was hijacked by remnants of Zeon led by Anavel Gato from a developmental base in Earth. What made the GP02A unique was its capability to fire nuclear weapons.

From Zoids anime series, Karl Schwalz's Saber Tiger gets released by Kotobukiya as a 1/72 scale Highend Master Model kit in 2009. This Zoid comes equipped with a back mounted Gatling gun, Triple Barrel cannon at the chest 20 mm beam gun at its left flank, linear laser at its tail, strike laser claws and fangs.

Heard today that Ernest Borgnine passed away already. I grew up watching Ernest Borgnine in a couple of films but what really endeared him to me was watching him as Dominic Santini. He was Stringfellow Hawke's trusty sidekick in the popular Airwolf series of the 80's.

Released in 2009 by Kotobukiya for their Highend Master Model series is the Cannon Tortoise from Zoids. This zoid type seems to function as an artillery piece, what it lacks in speed it makes up in armor and firepower.

Released last 2011 by Bandai was the Action Base 3 which has a unique feature of being able to add your own design on the clear cover sheet of the base.

Bandai Action Base 2 English Manual

Action Base 2 by Bandai is used as a display stand and base. I mostly see this type of base used to display High Grade, Real Grade types and other smaller kits. Bandai’s action base line are nifty option parts that are very useful in my book.

Kotobukiya 1/72 HMM EZ-034 GENO BREAKER English Manual & Color Guide

Released in 2009 by Kotobukiya for their 1/72 line of Highend Master Model kits was the Geno Breaker from Zoids. Great design for a Zoid kit, unique about this kit is the particle cannon in the mouth that requires the zoid to assume a specific firing position with the tail extended, neck straight and mouth open. There is also a laser charging blade on the forehead of the Geno Breaker for charging melee attacks. Round shields are also located on each flank of the Geno Breaker.

Released last month by Bandai for their MG Figurerise line of model kits was the 1/8th scale Wild Tiger from the Tiger & Bunny anime series.

Yamato Toys announced via twitter that they posted today new pictures of the 1/60 Perfect Transformation VF-4G Lightning III that they are developing as part of the products to be released during the 30th Anniversary of the Super Dimension Fortress Macross Anime.

Bandai Action Base 1 English Manual

The Action Base 1 released separately by Bandai for use in displaying their snap fit mecha model kits, quite a nifty creation really and very useful for displaying as well as keeping your plastic model kits safe. I would definitely recommend these bases for use on Bandai model kits that have a hard time standing up.
