The RGM-79[G] GM Sniper from Gundam: 08th MS Team. If memory serves me correctly, this Mobile Suit appeared in the latter part of the OVA during the final remaining battles between the Federation forces and Zeon on earth.

1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia Build Part V
Major boo-boo on my part. I wanted to give the clear parts a nice glossy coat so I sprayed it with Bosny Clear. The thing turned out frosted. I'm wondering why this happened considering that when I usually spray something with the Bonsy clear it turns out glossy. Oh well, charge to experience. Next time I'll just dip it in Future Floor Wax instead.

1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia Build Part IV
Part III of this build could be found here. Ever have this happen to you? You get lost as to which part should go where?, and the manual doesn't seem to be of any help as the parts look all the same. This usually happens to me with similar looking parts because I cut off the parts needed for a certain number of steps from the runners then paint them.
MG Musha Gundam Mk-II (Tokugawa Ieyasu) English Color Guide
A limited edition release of the recently released Master Grade Musha Gundam Mk II. This time dubbed as the Tokugawa Ieyasu variant. I can't see anything different though aside from the color scheme. But that's just me, haven't really looked into it that well either.

Bandai MG 1/100 Destiny Gundam Heine Westenfluss Custom English Color Guide & Paint Conversion Chart
Not sure how this came about? Heine Westenfluss having a Destiny Gundam dressed in his colors considering that he's dead! I liked Heine Westenfluss' character in Gundam Seed Destiny. He was mentor to the young ZAFT pilots of the battleship Minerva. He flew a Blaze Zaku that was colored in his trademarked orange color scheme.

Bandai 1/100 MG Gundam Deathscythe (EW) English Manual, Paint Conversion and Color Guide
Update: Color Guide and Manual for the MG Gundam Deathscythe Hell can be found here.
The much awaited MG Gundam Deathscythe of Duo Maxwell from the Gundam Wing Endless Waltz anime. Haven't finished watching Gundam Wing yet but in the few episodes I did watch I have to say that I was impressed with the design of the Gundam Deathscythe. It's design projects an aura of meanness and bad ass all over it. Then again, any person who wields a long scythe seems to have that effect on anybody *snicker*

1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia Build Part II
Was tempted to revisit the 1/100 Gundam Kyrios and do another series of flat coating and panel lining but decided instead to finally do what I had planned, which was to build the much delayed and much scheduled 1/60 GN-001 Exia.

Amazing display of Manueverability by a Goshawk
Just saw this video posted at Reddit. I had to re-post it in this blog because I was just amazed with the manueverability display of the Goshawk as it flies through a dense forest.

Revisiting 1/72 VF-25G Valkyrie Messiah Part V
Great weather today so I was able to finally finish up on this re-touching. It was also a time for me to experiment with the colored pencils that I bought. Part IV of this build could be found here.

Revisiting 1/72 VF-25G Valkyrie Messiah Part IV
Part III of this build can be seen here. Decided to try out the Faber Castell Colored pencils I bought. This was to color the red parts in the shoulders of the VF-25G.

PG Strike Freedom from Gundam Seed Destiny up for pre-order
Update: English Translated Color Guide and Manual found here already.
Saw this at Amiami, up for pre-order and set for release at the latter part of Dec 2010, the Perfect Grade Strike Freedom of Kira Yamato from the Gundam Seed Destiny Anime series. After he had the Freedom Gundam trashed by Shinn Asuka Kira Yamato moved on over to the Strike Freedom Gundam. Looking at the picture above, you can see that it towers over the PG Gundam Astray Red Frame.

Revisiting 1/72 VF-25G Valkyrie Messiah Part II
Nice weather yesterday so was able to do some flat coat painting on the 1/72 VF-25G Valkyrie Messiah that I was retouching. Took me a lot quicker to clean the kit as there wasn't much dust found on it. Afterwards did the initial painting of the Bosny Flat clear. Waited about 1 and a half hours for that to dry then proceeded with the panel lining with a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil.

Bandai HG 1/144 RB-79 Ball Twin Set English Manual and Color Guide
The "cute" RB-79 Ball from Gundam Universal Century. My first impression of this was that they were rather flimsy, but when I saw them in action at Gundam MS IGLOO I was impressed. Chiefly because of the firepower they carry despite the small frame. The RB-79 Ball even merited its own Gundam Evolve anime short, must be a measure stick for its popularity with the fans.

Revisiting 1/72 VF-25G Valkyrie Messiah
Me wonders whether the 1/60 GN-001 Exia will ever get built *snicker*... Decided to take a step back once again and retouch the first Bandai kit I ever built. The 1/72 VF-25G Valkyrie Messiah of Michael Blanc from the Macross Frontier anime series. Nothing much really, just flat cloating and adding panel lines to the kit. I didn't have any Gundam Marker yet at the time I built this, nor the knowledge that an ordinary pencil can do wonders in detailing up a kit. Probably try to add more stickers too.

Tamiya Pla Plate
Ordered up also some Tamiya Pla Plates from HobbyLink Japan. The picture above is right next to a 24 inch T-square (for reference). Can't believe that there's actually a T-square in the house *snicker*

1/100 Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second L Revisited
Somehow this didn't turn out as I had expected it. Was supposed to be building the 1/60 GN-001 Exia but got sidetracked upon seeing the 1/100 Gundam Astray Blue Frame that I had built. Wanted to see what would happen if I gave it a flat coat of Bosny Clear Flat. The good news is that Gundam Spray (blue color) does not have a negative reaction to the Bosny Clear Flat.

Kotobukiya MSG parts
Some Kotobukiya MSG parts I ordered arrived from HobbyLink Japan last week. Ever since I saw these Modeling Support Goods (MSG) being sold at HLJ I knew that I just had to have them. Chiefly because I suck at detailing and this could do well to spice up an otherwise "dull" kit *snicker* This is easy to add to a model kit too, just some glue at the back and your all set to stick it on a model kit, before painting of course... hehehe

Classic Godmars Toy by Popy
Ever heard of God Mars? I know I haven't till only recently (a year back I think). Yet I have a diecast toy of this. A classic your-parents-didn't-know-what-you-wanted-for-your-birthday-and-were-out-of-tune-with-what-was-in. So I got a God Mars diecast toy because they knew that I was into giant robots.

Airtex Beauti 4 Double Action Airbrush (0.3mm Needle)
Finally got this in the mail from HobbyLink Japan. Airtex Beauti 4 Double Action Airbrush with 0.3mm Needle, its selling for 6650 yen at HobbyLink Japan. I chose this as my first double action airbrush because of the price (30% off) and the unique features of this version that is being sold by HobbyLink Japan. According to the product page at HobbyLink Japan this airbrush was customized for them by Airtex.

1/60 GN-001 Exia Build
Finally decided on which kit I would build next and it will be the 1/60 GN-001 Exia. I've already prepared for this before by having translated the manual from Japanese to English. I also have the colors in my inventory of spray paints.

Colored Pencils
I liked how the panel lining of the 1/100 GN-006 Cherudim Gundam and the MG Rick Dias came out after I used a mechanical pencil that I decided to buy a more "complete" set rather than just relying on the default pencil color of my "generic" mechanical pencil. Today I bought a pack of colored pencils made by Faber-Castell. It cost me about $5 for the pack with 24 colors.

MG Rick Dias Rebuild Part II
Picking up from where I left off. Finally finished retouching the MG Rick Dias that I had. I have to say that after completing this project the feeling I have right now is similar to having had a full meal or 8 hours of sleep... in short, I feel contentment right now. I don't think I'll ever revisit this build again because I am pleased already with how this model came out for me.
MG Rick Dias Rebuild
I mentioned previously that I would be working on the Rick Dias again instead of starting on a new build. So yesterday I started working on the Rick Dias again. Thankfully nothing major happened that would require me to devote much time to this re-touching endeavour.

1/100 GN-006 Cherudim Gundam Finished shots
Finished already the 1/100 non-grade Gundam Cherudim from Gundam 00 2nd Season. My previous post on this build could be found here. Took quite a while but finally, thanks to good weather and a free schedule was able to finish it up.
