Update 11/19/2009:Spoke too soon. Turns out that there is a problem with Hobby Search and Paypal, so they had to cancel all orders that were to be paid via paypal. Of course, since I was in one of the banned countries that Hobby Search will only allow to pay via paypal, shopping is officially stopped for me till their troubles are fixed.
Hobby Search just posted today that they are now accepting payment via Paypal. When paying with Paypal, Hobby Search will send you a payment request via email as soon as your items are ready to be shipped. More details about this can be found here.
Also more importantly was that they are shipping again to the countries of Indonesia, Philippines and Peru. Previously they stopped selling to these countries because of credit card problems. I was in one of those countries that were banned by them, hence my inability to put up a decent review of Hobby Search. Now that that's not an issue anymore, time to pick up an item to purchase so that I can finally complete that review of Hobby Search.
Last month they had already announced that they were going to start accepting payments via Paypal and I was hoping that because of that they would lift the ban on selling to the countries that they had black listed... Lucky!
